Hostess
Hostess
"Do I
really need a hostess?" The answer is, "Yes!"
You deserve a smoothly run wedding
and a good hostess is
invaluable to pull everything together
and give you peace to enjoy your ceremony.
Giving this responsibility to a friend is unfair to
her and to you. From teaching groomsmen how to
walk a bridesmaid to proper etiquette, our hostess
will cover it all. Here is some of what our hostess handles.
Rehearsal.
She organizes the ceremony, sets the timing and look. She
checks:
music cues, ushers, parents placement, processional,
recessional, court arrangement, and conducts two run-throughs.
She instructs bridesmaids and groomsmen on pace, how to hit their marks,
and she removes any doubt on cues.
Wedding. She arrives one hour
before your wedding, checks on the
bride and assists in preparation. She verifies
the vendors, the guest book, the guests seating, the wedding party, ushers,
props, and music cues. When bride and
groom are ready she cues the minister. She
times the wedding cueing bridesmaids, ring bearer,
flower girl, and bride. After the wedding she makes
sure the license is signed and ready for mailing and
organizes for photos.
Often brides ask her to stay and assist with the
reception for an additional hourly fee.
Full wedding Coordinator. Our hostess
is also a full
wedding coordinator. Depending on your needs,
she
will spend weeks or months with you to help on every detail
from invitations to choosing a dress to make your wedding a success.
